Simple Dougie. As you should know by now, as this has been hashed out many, many times in this group, it takes finite time to make changes to a chip design. Given that K8L has taped out and likely exists as first silicon, those 9 months you are postulating aren't nearly enough to account for the changes that AMD has owned up to. In fact, the first of last year wouldn't have been enough time.

So you either knew this and are spouting FUD again or you are clueless. Your choice.
