To tell you the truth, I don't really have a disciplined method of picking stocks. The company is in Texas (so am I). That caught my attention. I always read the last quarterly and annual reports and look for nervous statements. One analyst has a strong buy on this stock. I cannot find any other negative news. If people think xSDL is going to take business from cable, good luck - you will need it. I also have had some luck at trying to spot unnatural lows (BBRC @ 15.5, ELNT @ 6, SILI @ 15.5-missed). My other strategy is buying earnings suprises that are announced shortly before the market opens (in hopes of beating Joe six-pack). As for as for recommendations for my favorite sister, I could hardly sleep recommending anything other than the matress.
