Oh yes, I am getting it checked every three months and have lowered the total cholesterol 52 points in the past three months mostly with niacin, supplements, and clean living. ;-)

I am diabetic and the doctor does lab work every three months in order to check Hemoglobin A1C and Lipids.

I will definitely watch for the new Super HDL drug from Pfizer.
