65nm troubles at AMD? Interesting Ace's post:

aceshardware.com

"AMD plans to ramp 45 nm just over 12 months after 65 nm. "

1. The estimation is just full of it. AMD has not (or just barely) got 65nm right. In fact, they were so desperated just a few months back that some of my friends (process people) were deeply surprised.Anyone gives this kind of estimation must not be an engineer (not sure if they are qualified for analyst).

That would fit with the reported December shipments of 65nm, delayed from previously scheduled of H106 shipments. Also with Inq comments about hearing that all was not well with AMD's 65nm. The line about only converting over once 65nm was "fully mature" has seemed rather like a smokescreen.
