That is sometimes true of those who speak of them; but Bible writers did not attempt to veil it, but to reveal it. Nevertheless, it wasn't my point. What I meant was that since you have not experienced death, what you believe about it can only be an opinion. And opinions are conclusions based on insufficient or faulty information.

That is certainly true. You cannot even get a smoker to quit even though he sees the commercials and may know lung cancer victims suffering because of it. Yes, humans have a stubborn streak of self-determination in spite of living with the consequences of their bad ways or threats of divine reprisal.
