I think Kerry certainly has fighting spirit - look how he's still dragging the Swift Boat stuff up in hopes of another run, even now. But you also have to have a case. I don't think Kerry did, either in the Swift Boat case (what could he have said in perfect candor, 'they are exaggerating some of the stunts I pulled and the tales I told, and no, I won't let you see my military records since I can't afford their disclosure'?) or in the Ohio case. To challenge an election you have to find some pile of uncounted or miscounted votes that could swing the result. That wasn't available in Ohio.
