Jim no need to buy Individual Investor, I subscribe to it. Here' s the article. "Quadrax shouldn't have abandoned the defense industry. The compnay, which originally fabricated its high-tech plastic for the outer shells of fighter jets, seemed to be making a smart move when it switched to producing golf shafts (golf equipment is a billion dollar market). But Quadrax's sales failed to live up to expectations. The company lost $0.10 a share in the second quarter (ended june 30). Although the recent acquisition of an industrial materials supplier might help cash flow, it blurs the company's focus. Investors should cut their losses and move on." This is the entire article. I believe we know more about this company than the person who wrote this article, Stephen Gandel.. He gave no reason to sell only that you should sell.. I'm not taking his advice. bw, hector
