"...they always need to embelish the facts,,," It is positively bizarre. A very strong and credible anti-Bush argument could be made by focusing on real flaws and weaknesses in his positions; in the promotion of positive alternatives. Why that is never tried on SI I don't know. It is frequently suggested that some of these guys are Republican plants paid to make the right wing look good, by representing the leftwing with doltish comments and insane arguments. The longer I read these threads, the more that explanation is starting to make sense. They certainly drive away decent, rational, liberal thinking people.
