I am worried about the same thing akafoobar. The metals are way up, the dollar is way down, yet the mining stocks are following the DOW down.

I have been worried about that all along. The PM's are staying up (high oil and falling dollar), but the base metals are falling. But the PM stocks are flat to down. I am sure the market is making the connection between the soft stock market and less consumption of base metals, theory??

Still china and Japan keep chugging along. I guess we will need to climb a wall of worry. I just get comfortable and down goes the DOW taking metals stocks with it, despite gold being up $10 and silver being up .60-lol.
