I am against the death penalty too FWIW. This is what got to me though: the Tookie scenario showed that libs came out for Tookie (who was guilty- nobody was arguing that) but at the same time someone who was also on death row in CA for a similar crime did not get an ounce of attention from these media whores. There are truly innocent people on death row......Tookie gets attention because he wrote some children's books???? As far as marines killing innocent people, if what is alleged to have happened really occurred, of course it was wrong. But I am always going to give the benefit of the doubt to any of our armed sevice members protecting us, as all Americans should.
