Hi Paul, Re: my i-Wave (IW) risk indicator and AIM......

Good to hear from you.

Yes, I developed both a larger and smaller cap version of the risk indicator to use in conjunction with AIM. It helps guide my Equity/Cash ratio when starting a new AIM account and I also use it to get a feel for how the cash side is relative to the IW.

In more recent times I've also used it as a filter for my AIM holdings. When it's indicating "high risk" I tend to avoid new investments and also additions to ongoing AIM accounts.

On the "sell" side, when the IW's showing "low risk" then I avoid selling until we've returned to an average risk reading.

So, for most of 2006 it's been in the high risk end of things and keeping me in a subdued mood as far as buying goes. Of course, I break all these rules on a regular basis!!!

Best regards, Tom
