I enjoyed your out of context quote of me with which you likely feigned incomprehension. Or perhaps you have trouble with complex sentences. Or maybe I don't write them terribly well, ya think (a gimme for ya, though I doubt you can figure what's really wrong with the sentence)? In any event, it seems clear enough that quoting me you could get this: "You've got a lot of doom and gloom "ifs" (and) the biggest if of the bunch - i.e. if global terrorism continues to increase - is likely lessened thanks to the war in Iraq and a strong stance elsewhere in the future. Given your notion that by not fighting we would lessen attacks against us (which I deem highly unlikely), you may still not understand. Therefore, I can only say again - if in fewer words - that I believe fighting back saves our lives. In other words, I can and do believe that if we are seeing and continue to see an increase in terrorism, the extent of it likely is now and would be, less than if we had not fought in Iraq. I can tell you disagree. Dan B.
