Well, hawk has a point that shouldn't be completely discounted. Let's say solar output increases (or CO2 drives global temperatures), and results in global warming. As the temperature of the oceans increases, their ability to carry dissolved gases like Oxygen or CO2 decrease (and releases these gases to the atmosphere). If you consider CO2 a nutrient for aquatic plants, then this nutrient is decreased. This should make you both happy! :o)
