This isn't about Kerry, it's about truth, ethics, democracy, real solutions and for God's sake needing to fix the mess we're in as a country now.
All partisanship aside, we are headed for a brick wall as a country. We need wholly new different leadership, and much more honest leadership. Honesty is a huge issue. Maybe the most important one.
Americans do not trust their leaders anymore at all. In fact it's as bad if not worse than the height of Watergate. And if you want honesty and wisdom, Kerry is as good as it gets.
Despite all the smears you've heard, the man never lies, cheats, jumps to conclusions or lets any crony steal a dime from anyone. He's tough, wise, fearless, cautious, beholden to no one and really does care about all the people, even you folks who lie about him. He's also excellent on national defence and counter-terrorism, much smarter about it than Bush-Cheney.
Along with Gore, he also deserves to be president. Even more than Gore in fact, because he never gave up the fight. And again, this isn't about him, it's about love of country, love of the planet, the next generations health and well-being, and honestly governing for all of us. Or at least as many as possible. |
