Mission accomplished and "major operations are over" sure sound like the same thing to me. I didn't mean to imply, by using "major operations are over" that I did not think they were equivalent expressions. I agree with Lane 3 that they are. There is no need to be personal and bring up the red queen. I've noticed that posts often get personal when one of the posters has run out of valid arguments. Obviously you do not think the 2 expressions are equivalent. One could certainly argue that they are not (and that your interpretation is the correct one)- but saying nasty things to another poster is not the way to do that (imo). "You could give the Red Queen a run for her money:-)" the smileys don't make the nasty things in your posts any less nasty
