Wharf Rat, this isn't about Kerry or 2008, it's about exposing a mountain of lies perped on the American people by the Bushie rightwing, which the mainstream media has still not totally exposed and discredited. It's about getting this poisonous pollution out of our democracy once and for all. To a rightwing smear monger, Kerry is no different than Gore or Warner or Wes Clark or anyone else. The fact is, if Bushies are allowed to get away their these smear campaigns they will use them again and again. Remnember, all the charges vs. Kerry were just made up out of thin air, total fabrications. So a candidate's real history does not concern them. Any smear that sounds vaguely plausible or is hard to disprove will be used. The new word for smearing is "swiftboating", and they're trying it now against Murtha too.
