This snippet comes from a WSJ column very critical of Gore and his new movie. The part you excerpted is well said. I think it's useful and even important to present important questions and ideas in a form that's accessible to the ordinary layman, but from the snippets I've seen so far, Gore's just over the top. The two most egregious things I've seen so far are the claims for how much land would be indundated in the event of the ice caps melting, and blaming the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina on global warming. Just unforgiveable, really. He's gone bonkers.
