I've always been reluctant to use ignores and bans. I only have one ignore; Laz. Mostly I don't go to the places where I would be moved to do that. Sort of a self-imposed thread ignore.
I tend to view "ignore" as some personal character weakness, like lack of tolerance or patience. But maybe not using it is the flaw; stupidity :>)

Also, I think a lot of people view collecting bans and ignores as digitally counting coup. Don't want to feed into that, either.

I'm getting really close. It's gonna be a long enuf 2.5 years anyway.
