well, considering they raised their rating from NEUTRAL to ATTRACTIVE, i'd say that's bullish. my point is, here are the biggest, most establishment analcysts on WS, and they are hyping gold stocks. that is really different from the continued claims of gold bulls that establishment WS is negative on gold stocks.

If they project higher oil they will have to downgrade the US economy.

and yet such a projection would not have required a downgrading of the US economy these past several years. the US economy has defied all skeptics, even as energy has defied all bears. i am afraid no one, three years ago (when we annexed Iraq and oil was $25), would have predicted that oil would nearly triple and yet the US would record 5% growth. nobody on SI, certainly nobody from the Brown Flea Zone.
