Some good points, mixed with lots of dubious pro-Syrian spin. For example if you believe this

In the past, it was believed that Syrians were fanning the conflict in Iraq, out of a conviction that the more Iraq was ablaze, the more difficult it would be to pressure Syria or justify any action against Damascus. Today, the Syrians no longer need to fan the conflict in Iraq. It exists with or without the Syrians
