Kerry did the right thing. He never aided the enemy in any way, shape or form. In fact he killed quite a few of them, and saved his men from being killed other times.

By the time Kerry was in Paris, the war was dragging on long after Nixon had promised to end it "with dignity" and thousands were dying, all for nothing. Nixon dropped more bombs on that poor country that we did in all of WWII. Just awful.

And btw, what threat has Vietnam been to us since we left? No threat at all. In fact the first thing they did was go to war against communist China and kick out all the Soviet advisors.
