the only problem with all this is that the rest of the world is a mess. That is EXACTLY the problem and it is a HUGE problem and it is EXACTLY why GST is dead wrong. He overlooks huge problems of monetary explosion in China, demographic problems Europe, the UK that arguably worse off than the US, Japan at 0% rates, and numerous other places. It is not just the US$ that is crapola. For the US$ to fall 50% it has to fall against something. What? Gold? Will it matter if it falls against that? Does GST even watch gold? I have no idea. Mish
