LOS ANGELES, May 31 (Reuters) - Microchip industry equipment maker Brooks Automation Inc. (BRKS.O: Quote, Profile, Research) on Wednesday said it faces a shareholder lawsuit in connection to its prior stock option grant pratices.
I guess you can own 20 shares and start a lawsuit - my guess is these shareholders are actually shortsellers.
What makes me think so ?
Look at short interest trend for AMAT versus KLAC; there is a huge discrepancy between KLAC and AMT;
let's see 6 months down the road what happened to the lawsuit - my guess nothing. The damage is done and profits have been made.
