First chart on this page: stockcharts.com[s50024159]&disp=O April is seasonally weak and by 2007 the stock market could be in a funk over a recession, so I suppose an environment of high bullion prices and possibly oversold miners' share prices would not be so unreasonable. The shares should provide leverage...it seems so far he hedgies have had the most fun with this trade. So do we play their game? Long bullion short miners? We have discussed this before but it does seem to be the best way to isolate market risk and have a leveraged trade on that risk.
