i worked in nyc for almost a year, temp assignment. i hated it. turned down job offer. went back to scarsdale. later moved to albany for a few months but nyc was the pits. i found it very depressing. expensive, trains into nyc go by the worst sights we offer to the world of our poor. apartments with out windows/heat/etc. and people living in them. slums of the worst . i believe it was grant park a block away from our building.. you walk through it and the smell of dope was so strong. street people sleeping all over the place. dealers selling drugs. and one woman killed in park during the day time while i working down there. if a business dinner at night you never walked the streets.

Of Rudy cleaned all that up.. i go back a few decades. gggg
