I did manage to talk some politics with several people from various countries during my trip abroad.

One Spanish man told me that everyone he knows in Spain is wondering what has happened to Americans. We were once the most revered and respected of all countries on this planet. Now we have become almost the laughing stock of the globe.

He brought up the incident in FLorida whereby the state with his brother as Gov just happened to be the state that took him over the top in electoral votes.

The Europeans have seen more crooked political stunts then we have and they are asking why Americans sit on their butts and do nothing. It is obvious to them Bush is not legally in power.

If a "FLorida" happened in Europe, there would be millions of people protesting in the streets.

The Spaniard also thought Tony Blair has lost the respect of most Europeans.
