"However, he started this mess with no provocation and has no way out...and the kill rates continue."

I figure you have to be old enough to know more about our history with the regime of Saddam Hussein than that. I also presume you to know Al-Quaida and other such types of organizations are not joking when they put us at the top of their hit list.

Your hatered for Bush or your zealous support for his political opposition may have tainted your perspective, or there may be some other explanation for such an irrational view point. May be you could get a grip on it. Do you have one?

To get a grasp on our current state we need only form a union of space, time, material events, and human mind. The common good is a mutual regard for the well being of self and others. It is not a rigid dictate handed down by a social authority to control you. It is an idea that you control by your free will to choose the beneficent path over the corrupt.

Freedom of conscience maintains the delicate balance between responsibility for the care of one's fellows and the freedom from oppression by one's fellows that we should all seek individually and on behalf of one another. This obligates us to stand against brutality and oppressive tyranny where ever it is manifest, until all of our brethren on this planet live at their liberty. None of us will be truly free until all of us are free.
