Oh no, not at all, Intermec is not and will not be in the patent pool, though they may end up doing a cross-license with it. A cross-license does not mean each side is equal, far from it. The best research I read on the subject of IN's patents said you can design around them but you would not want to. I believe it was performance or cost. But it said you could comply with Gen2 and not license.

The market has spoken via the Rapid Start program, so what I cannot understand is what Alien is doing. Are they positioning for a settlement, do they think they are not infringing, do they think anyone is infringing, jockeying, etc.
