Intel 'kickback' still in place?

A few weeks ago some sources were reporting imminent changes to the Intel Inside programme (R.I.P. IIRC?!).

Does anyone know if this would imply an end to the usual marketing dollar flow aka kickbacks? If so, recent INTC price cuts might be not quite that steep?!

BTW, I'm particularly excited about plug-in co-processors - doesn't look like a one-trick pony. Today's slides almost (sorry, can't help being paranoid) convinced me of AMD having a very sound long-term strategy which in my eyes is far more important than a negligible short-term performance lead. Maybe they'll try and play good old PONG in the future, performance-wise.
