Quite a few others do. The motley fool has a daily listings of the number. In fact, in the past I've listened to Corel's conference calls.

Absolutely not. There is no reason why we should be tolerant with companies preferring analysts over regular shareholders. It ought to be illegal as selective disclosure even if it is common practice.
