Ugly, but for a change Dvorak has it partly right. Sun's a thing of the past...yesterday's "please buy me I won't poison you" announcement was the death rattle. The Dot is now just a wet spot on the pavement.

I don't agree with his profound analysis about Google killing Sun, that's BS. Sun could have participated in what Google did.

What killed Sun was precisely the solipsistic hubris reflected in the bilious crap that Dvorak quotes from Schwartz' blog. Gold medal stupid. Makes you want to puke. Like the recent Forbes or Business Week headline said, they dealt with problems by changing the subject. Then there was just one big problem. There's no better way to sum it up.
