My Lai SHOULD have attracted attention. 224 women, children and old people mowed down. That's a major horror. And the smearvets said they never saw any atrocities in Nam. Yeah right. That whole war was one big atrocity. JFK had it right, just use Green Beret advisors helping local troops.

But again, where does the real blame lie? With those who mis-planned the war, sent the troops on impossible no-win missions against unseen enemies in 100 degree hellholes, and lied to start the whole war in the first place.

That's why the frustration level gets so high and some soldiers snap and go wacko. Because they're sent into hell.

Same as in Iraq now. But Bush pretends like he's on the right course. Just unbelieveably out of touch with reality.
