Hello VVUS longs.
I have been a lurker on SI and this thread for months. I am a full time daytrader but VVUS is just too difficult to time, and when it goes it goes, so I decided to buy (1k shares @ 34) and hold til earnings based on my own FA and all of the information on this thread. Smith Barney and Herzog have been the most obviuos "big name" MM's leading this stock over the past few days, and I am watching their moves closely. I will post if I see their aggressive buying fade. It is very difficult for me not to take profits on these interday moves, but I firmly believe this stock will be at least 40 w/in the next two weeks as most of you do. I would appreciate someone posting a new short interest number as soon as it is available.

P.S. I will be in a weekly chat tomarrow to New York with the firm I trade with and a SOES consulting group. (Datek Securities and Broadway Consulting). There are usually several people from their trading room on-line and I will find out if VVUS is in play with them. There is always a good amount of SOES traders on VVUS daily, but if and when the stock breaks out to a new high there will be a ton of SOES traders along for the ride. This combined with a "short Squeeze" may actually push the price to 45-50 before earnings. Good luck to all!
