My friend who is in touch with the Vancouver scene (I'm going there next month! Great chinese food I hear!) says a lot of market related people are taking their losses now and repositioning in tax shelters cause there was a lot of money made in the last two years. So they can take their gains and their losses and shelter the residual gains. It kind of explains why the VSE hasn't responded lately cause the selling isn't related to the scandals, it's just people crystalising gains of the last two years. This month or October he predicts will be the low for the VSE and a great buying opportunity on many deals. He is helping me understand how things work up there. It appears to be a very complicated and incestuous market! As I told you he bot VLG a few weeks ago.
