I don't accept your world views of forced choices between opposite extremes; although I do understand your need to dictate extreme loyalties and draw lines of exclusion.

I am sure that reinforces your world view.

However, in Iraq we are not talking about such a closed system, like the leftwing partisan extremists constantly doing a push-me pull-you with the right wing extremists in America. There is a National Government now in Iraq with a growing security force backed by our military. As one extremist group damages another, it could become increasingly possible for the Iraqi Government to step in provide reparations and secure pockets of previous turmoil. Indeed that approach seems to be having some success already. It will never be a garden of peace, nor is any region of the world.
