If you wish to discuss history that's a different subject than that attitudes of today's military personnel.

In today's military, one doesn't act on orders which run contrary to the Constitution. That's what we're trained to do, and it's the way the entire chain of command operates.

It's as simple as that.

Today's American military has *learned* from the lessons of history.
