Rough Cut, don't bother lecturing me about sacrifice and nobility.

It's all too often a copout. I'd guess the other side is busy touting the same values and perverting them to create pain and suffering. I note that most of those on our end who wax eloquently about the nobility of the war are not sending their children to die over there.

As I've said in the past, before we send our children to kill and die in a war we must have a just cause worth dying for, there must have been no other way of achieving the cause and it must be DOABLE.

If ANY of those three criteria are not me than it is ignoble to go to war.

At best we met one out of the three criteria, and I'm not even sure about that one.

We owed more to those we sent to die and kill in Iraq and we failed them. Ed
