Intel already announced a reduction in headcount, 16k they are shooting for I think? Didn't Intel just hire an additional 16,000 or so new employees last year? What kind of management foresight is this? Of course the cynical take on all this would be for Intel to hire 16K new lower paid employees and have them train for a year and then lay off the 16K more experienced higher paid employees who trained them. Perhaps Intel thinks employees are commodities also. THE WATSONYOUTH
