Louis, I saw the note on your paranoia page and realized I'm not quite sure what it means. By "stopped", you mean the contracts were dissolved, or delivered into, or what? Is the Comex low on deliverable gold? Should we be paying more attention to this? It was a few smart French investors "marking to market" (i.e. converting to gold) that began the assignat collapse (and later on the French revolution). History rhymes? CD
