I've heard plenty of Israeli settlers sound every bit as wacko as anyone you'd meet quoting different passages and they were well armed. I also have similar, though not as extreme quotes from various current Israeli web sites and magazines.

My answer to them is the same as my answer to your Mahdi army question. So long as people have a life to live, 99.999% of them would not bother with these dumb ass quotes or "explain" them in various philosophical or symbolic ways. The remainder don't matter because after all there have always been plenty of nut cases and none brought about the end of world.

So to answer your question, when you bring about normalcy to Iraq, there will be no effective Mahdism to worry about...and this is what I told you in my first email but you did not want to see it.
