Senators can go to sporting events for free in their home states. I have no problem with that. Their home state sporting events are part of their state's economies and it's no big deal to get free tickets. Sports teams and venues customarily comp all kinds of friends for their events. It's no big deal at all. Perfectly OK if Delay goes to an Astros game for free.

What is a big deal is Delay letting Russian oil lobbyists flying him to Russia, and Ambramoff fly him and his cronies to Scotland on a five-star golfing trip which has nothing to do with Sugarland Texas, just pure corruption.

See the difference?

But the biggest corruption of all is taking tens of millions from big oil and letting them gouge us for a half trillion bucks. Or taking 35 million from big HMO's and giving them 35 billion in freebies at tax-payer expense. Or letting Halliburton rip off a billion bucks just because their the VP's company. That's real corruption. And you are paying for it too, bubba.
