Fire bombing Tokyo was without a doubt mass murder of civilians -- as many as 100,000 in a day. And the vast majority of those who were killed in Hiroshima were likewise civilians. Cold blooded murder of innocents is the same whether it is face to face or from an antiseptic distance of a few thousand feet in the air.

In the case of Iraq, the atrocity begins in the oval office where decisions were taken that made this war immoral from the start -- the atrocities of torture and execution of children who are handcuffed that are now coming to light merely add insult to injury.
