Can you tell us what assimilating that you have done?I know that i was born and raised in Canada and haven't done any assimilating...it is not required...but if it is,is ruled on by the courts.Canada is a country of laws and when one is a citizen you are free to test them through the courts.The general public might not like the results of these tests of the law but this is a far better system than the many alternatives that we see daily in other countries. Can you and i assemble freely,can we speak freely...worship freely?? if so, why not other citizens of different ethnic backrounds ...why would this disturb you?The vast majority are like you and i ...holding jobs , supporting their families paying their taxes ..there are unfortunately bad apples with every colour,but the law eventually takes care of them.
