Back to pre-Conroe? At the end of Q2 07? Not even close. AMD has an absolute lead in performance, performance/watt, and in almost every case led in performance/$ as well. Heck, Intel will even have plenty of 64-bit mobile CPUs available by then. There will be no going back to the pre-Conroe days any time in 2007 for AMD even if K8L outperforms Conroe as much as K8 outperforms Pentium. As we have not seen any K8L benchmarks it is still too early to determine if K8L will even be a clear performance leader over Conroe.
