My viewpoint is more jaded. The same("they will not go bankrupt") viewpoint has been floated in the past about many other sectors. Interesting how many companies simply choose to BK and hose the SH's. That is business as usual on the Street these days. Does mngt suffer? No. They keep awarding themselves massive bonuses all through BK then survive reorg or move to another company or, like many, ride off into the sunset on their G3 with a couple hundred mil they made off stock options and retire to Hawaii and play golf.
