VK, i was trading msft for a while. Now, I am only a long term holder. I intently wait for msft to drop and i will be picking up more long term holding.

i don't see msft as a high tech only company. i see it (10-20yrs)
as a company like GE in midst of many businesses.

NT, or windows 98 delays or how it compares to unix is totally irrelevent w. my invesment in msft.

As for layoffs, you know if you are in high tech how difficult is to
find people and all this temporary news is a non event for me.

Though, you can bet I will borrow more money on the house or go on margin and do what ever it takes to pick up more msft if it ever drops
even close to 104. ...it's not 100 .

if i had short term intrest trading intrest in msft then you are right it's not a good investment.

long msft, intel, csco, orcl, sunw, ibm.. ..any 30 otherstocks and any thing that makes money... vvus too.

VK, if you don't like wintel why don't u just go long on sunw instead of shorting or buying puts in the bull market. You are going against the traffic. (just IMO).
