So you believe Enron and Exxon have not gouged us?

Wait. Enron and Exxon are not the same org. nor are they in the same business. You are doing exactly what the righties do......tying to tie together two unrelated issues.

Exxon is a respected org. that according to their factual fundamentals, and their books is not gouging the American public. Now it's possible that someone is lying.....their accountants and auditors....but I highly doubt it. There is too much at stake.

What kind of sucker are you anyway?

Someone who is honest and calls a spade a spade. Someone who is relatively non partisan. If that makes me 'foolable' so be it.

You think it's a coincidence with two oilmen in the White House that the gouging starts the day after they're fiorst nominated and only stalls for awhile when Dems have subpoena power?

The price of oil did not start to exceed normal parameters [$30 per barrel]until April, 2004. That's roughly 3 years after Bush and Cheney took office.

I personally spoke to an oilman in Austin who admitting that the gouging was a free-for-all while Bush-Cheney and DElay were in charge. He laughed about it. They're proud they're gouging us.

I don't know what this guy told you but there is no factual evidence to support your's or his argument. But don't feel bad......there are a lot of GOP congressmen as well as Dems who are working hard to agree with you all.

There is no one who can claim to hate Bush and Cheney more than I. However, even I do not believe they started the Iraqi war in order to force the price of oil up. As for gouging, if there is some gouging when it comes to oil, there has always been gouging. Nothing has changed in the past ten years except the price of a barrel. Those who live or have lived in Texas might know more on the subject, but I doubt it.
