This is Canada and when I go into the streets of a Canadian city such as Toronto I want to be able to read store headers in english or french not in any other language yet I am forced to accept this change to my culture. When walking the streets of a Canadian city such as Toronto I don't want to to be afraid to mistakenly wander into an area of the city where a culture exists unlike mine and where I am not welcome. Some of my tax dollars go to support and keep different cultures separate and apart from Canadian society and I am forced to accept these changes to my culture or what's left of whatever culture I use to have. We very nearly had shria muslim law adopted in Ontario and if that had happened I would be required to accept this forced change to my culture. How about one of the IMO...most blatant assaults on our culture... the forced change to the dress code of the RCMP. And what about the forced changes to our education system to accommodate other cultures who refuse to accept our way of life and why should they when our liberal minded governments see fit to use our tax dollars to support multi/separate cultures within our Canadian society....all of this and much more is leading to the complete destruction of our Canadian society as it once was. And I for one don't like it at all. One culture is permitted by law to carry a weapon in schools and again we Canadians are forced to accept these changes to our society. ....."Can you and i assemble freely,can we speak freely...worship freely?? if so, why not other citizens of different ethnic backrounds ...why would this disturb you?"..... Where did I say this disturbed me?? But now that you bring it up let me point out something to you that you may not be aware of. If I or you for that matter speak out freely and say the some other culture are terrorists which is mine and your right under freedom of speech we would be arrested and charged with a hate crime even though what we may be saying has nothing to do with hate or racism...it may be the truth. Do you remember the poor bugger who exercised his right to free speech against radical islam and a Canadian court and judge sentenced him to 9 months probation under the direct supervision of a muslin inam leader in Toronto? That's just sick IMO. And just recently I watched as did you hundreds of molsums carrying hate signs and calling for death to the infidels in cities through out the world and some Canadian cities...how many of the muslim demonstrators were arrested and charged with hate crimes as a Canadian would be?? Are they more equal than the rest of us or is there some appeasement and fear going on? And this...."why not other citizens of different ethnic backrounds"..... This makes no sense at all and has nothing to do with multiculturalism as it exists today. We all at some point came from different ethnic backgrounds and we all assimilated and became Canadians but now liberal minded fanatics who have managed to get into power within our governments have pretty much destroyed what use to be the best country in the world to live in with their stupid multicultural separate societies experiment. IMO a real multicultural society would have all peoples living together with a common language not in separate little enclaves within our society and each one being fearful of the other. There are generations and generations of Canadians of different backgrounds who still cling to their ethnic backgrounds by celebrating their Irish, Italian, french, German etc etc backgrounds every year.....BUT they speak a comon language and have a common culture developed over years and this is Canada. ...Was Canada. ...." this is a far better system than the many alternatives that we see daily in other countries."..... This WAS a far better system but is being destroyed by the failed multicultural experiment. We had a real good thing here what a shame to see it being destroyed by fanatic liberal minds who can not understand that real equality can not come about within a country with so many different cultures fighting for power and control. Assimilation means being absorbed as use to be the case when new Canadians came to Canada. Now it is us old Canadians that are being absorbed by other cultures...so yes I am being forced to accept other cultures and change to my culture.
