Here is the latest news release. Anybody out there with an ear to the ground got any take on what else may be happening with the company. Quite a few days with a fare bit of trading volume but the share price is still a long way from where I bought it :- (
Still seems to me this thing should have the potential to fly but it's hard to stop in and check things on from the east coast. Any information/opinions would be appreciated. I take the following announcement as a positive unless there is something between the lines that I'm not aware of.

R. Douglas McLean, Director of Markatech Industries Corporation, announces that Mr. Serge Talon has become a member of the Company's Board of Directors. Mr. Talon, who resides in Montreal Quebec, has had extensive financial experience in the banking industry. While employed with the Scotia Bank Mr. Talon was appointed to their international division as Canadian Administrator to Belgium and acted on the banks' behalf, which was a member of Brussels Stock Exchange.
Mr. Talon held the position of General Manager of Canadian Financial Recovery, a collection company, and President/CEO of Le Group Domicile 2000, a developer and financier of residential housing.
Recently, Mr. Talon served as Chief Executive Officer for an integrated internet service company, which employed approximately 40 people, focusing on the development of computer software for internet related applications. A publicly listed Corporation has now acquired the company.
Mr. Talon is currently Presient and CEO of CMI Capital, a company specializing in communications and investor relations.
