The vast majority of trial lawyers are Democrats. They survive on trivial lawsuits whether their clients win or lose the case, the lawyer collects a fee. That's why the trial lawyers encourage as many trivial cases as possible. It's their bread & butter. This irresponsible activity has continually driven medical costs higher as sleazy trial lawyers pursue nonsensical medical malpractice suits.
